Three Exsamples of Marketing Objectives:
1 - Aquireing a game Platform for publish: By finding a platform to publish your teams game on early, you can promote it and atract player attention before release or even a Beta release. We'll use Steam as an exsample, yes the con of doing this is that your giveing a cut to the platform. But the pro's of doing it are its a populer gameing platform with alot of users, you can get intrest from players on it without haveing to do exstra work on advertiseing and spreading the word and steam comes with a "wishlist" option which means that even if a user wont look a second time after seeing it, if he's wishlisted your game he will be notified if the game releases. Another pro is that if players/users decide to "Follow" your game on steam, they will not only be notified when it releases, but will be notified about updates during its development, meaning they will have a more active following which helps it getting more peaple intrested.
2: Makeing your own discord server: By makeing your own Discord server, you have an easy way to determin how much atention you are getting for you game, Their genral thoughts on your game early, what their looking for, exspecting from your game and what their main concerns are. You will also be able to do QnA events publicly and quickly, hold Alpha testing events to give out keys for early free testing and (if possible) be able to show sketces, shorter videos, sneek peaks, art concepts etc. It should be noted that this compaired to my "Game Platform" exsample of steam, allows shorter, less polished updates of your games development, update channels on game platforms should be saved from "Ancouncments" with in detail look on Development proccess. Since if used to post Every little thing done, would potentially annoy Followers on the platform and make them disable their notifications.
It should also be noted that some platforms like steam allow Developers to link their social media platforms as to help grow intrest in their game and thus their game.
3: Open Development comunications: By adopting open developemnt updateing to public discoloser, you will show that you are constantly working towords an end product and will keep players/users intrest high for release, beyond that this can keep a player base growing after release, by constantly updateing your forms, discord or platform of your game development, you will keep intrest in your game way past whats already avalable, but what is also on the way, alowing you opertunitys before and after release to increase the intrest in your game and thus the player base.
