Help from Albion: Development blog 3#
I have previusly made a Repository for my Unity project to not only keep track on what i have previusly done and time taken to do so, but to also have backups of my project incase anything goes wrong.
My last project was "Nightmare Door" in which i used bolt to do my codeing, becuase of an error that prevented me from uploading it as a web browser game, i messed with the version type on my unity projects in the hope it would fix the issue, sadly to say it did not, and i had to use version control, that being the backups useing my repository, to get the old version back.
NOTE: this is so i have refrence material from a past project, "not" to copy from for the design of my current project.
Today i made a prototype of a Gate which will eventualy act as a portal bewtween the difrent levels, (one way). it is a key part of the entendid gameplay of my project, so wanted to get that done, along with a few other things in the future, to help start basic functinality with my game.
No issues have came up other than yet again, modifyers that i have added to my made assets useing "3DS MAX", have not carryed over, it also hasent carryed over the materials that i added to the asset, this will have to be looked into in order to save time adding materials to the assets in unity, which will save me haveing to clutter my Unity folder with materials for my assets.
Till next week.
Take care.
