Help from Albion: Development blog 6#
This week i worked on getting a simple level layout to work with so i could then test player movment the week after, simple duplication.
The big push i made though this week was to figure out how to get my platforms to rotate, so that in the future i can use this to make platforms that will carcal round my game level.
I achived this to a point without any online help, makeing my platforms spin in place, sadly there seems to be something missing, since even with "wait" timers it multiplys the change every time adding on, which not that i read my own writeing here i think i know the answear, makeing the potion set each loop so it knows to add a small amount to rotation, instead of adding how much it has to rotate each time.
Moveing on from that point, the next stage of useing rotation will be to change the anker point on the platforms to achive a fluid movement going "around" the space the ankers in. thats what i have to achive next week, along with basic player movment.
